The 100 best Kiwi rock songs

The Rock FM has just announced their annual ‘Kiwi Ton', where the station counts down the 100 best Kiwi songs of all time, as voted by their listeners.

Topping the pole again was Shihad's classic ‘Home Again'. Shihad, with 13 tunes, was the band to most feature also. The feelers had seven Top 100 songs, while Blindspott had five.

The highest debut song came from I Am Giant, which includes the former Blindspott drummer Shelton Woolright, with ‘City Limits' at #10.

All three bands appearing on July 1 at The Kentish Hotel had songs in the Top 100. Luger Boa's ‘On My Mind' was #16, I Am Giant's newest track ‘Neon Sunrise' gave the band a second entry at #29, while Black River Drive, with ‘Bullet For Your Gun', were at #71.
