Tiki third #1 Kiwi artist for MNF

When Tiki Taane performs at the Kentish Hotel next month he'll be the third consecutive number one-selling Kiwi artist that My New Favourite will have brought to Franklin.

Goldenhorse, who played in Pukekohe in December, had a number one album, as did Elemeno P, who were at Waiuku in March.

Tiki's album 'Past Present Future' didn't reach number one. But it did spend 70 weeks (so, ages) in the NZ Top 40, peaking at number four. His single though, 'Always On My Mind', topped the New Zealand charts last year and has been one of the biggest Kiwi songs of the last decade.
