Anika Moa and Barnaby Weir will be strumming and humming across the country this September and October.
The pair will be at Pukekohe's Harrington Hall Theatre on Saturday, September 17, as part of their first acoustic tour together.
Their light hearted show - which plays vineyards, halls, theatres, cellars and cinemas - will see them collaborating on new, familiar, and sometimes surprising material.
Anika, whose wit is almost as sharp as her songwriting skills, should have plenty to talk about between tunes. She has just become a mum, with her partner Angela Fyfe having twin boys in July.
And Barnaby, who you might know as the lead singer from The Black Seeds and the ring-leader of Fly My Pretties, released his debut solo album Tarot Card Rock earlier this year. That foray into Americana was widely applauded.
On this tour, Anika will be releasing a CD of NZ artists covering songs from her recent gold album, Love In Motion. Artists featured there include Street Chant, Julia Deans & Cairo Knife Fight.
